Privacy Policy For Children (Breather Coach)

Parents or children may set up accounts for their children or themselves in PN Medical’s Breather Coach mobile application they download from the app store. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect to set up those accounts, what information we collect from a child user of our Services while using the Breather Coach app and how we use and share that information. This Privacy Policy for Children applies only to accounts specifically set up for children under the age of 13 or any higher minimum age in the jurisdiction the parent resides in.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOUR CHILD’S USE OF OUR SERVICES
When a person, including a child, is using the Breather Coach mobile application we may collect data related to the use of the device. This includes [name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, and optional – conditions they may have. Also, while using the mobile app, the user has the option to input their breathing session results stating they did the breathing routines and assessments. (optional and a manual process)]. When a child’s data is recorded in the mobile app, it is transferred to our Amazon secured servers.

HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We use the information we collect to improve our services, authenticate users’ identities, to track activities and actual use of the Breather Coach app, to provide customer support as needed by the user. The data we collect is also used for internal purposes such as troubleshooting, protecting against errors, data analysis and testing, and promoting the safety and security of the data collection.

We use HIPAA standards by identifying a user by a number so as to protect their identity.

HOW YOUR CHILD’S INFORMATION IS SHARED
Information we collect may ONLY be shared outside of PN Medical in limited circumstances. We do not share personal information (such as names, pictures, emails or other information that could identify your child) with companies, organizations, and individuals outside of PN Medical unless one of the following applies:

STUDIES
PN Medical conducts research to help improve the state of respiratory health around the world. We work with leading medical, athletic organizations and consumer organizations to move respiratory health forward without the use of drugs. We conduct studies periodically each year and will look at population data that is de-identified to abide by HIPAA standards to protect the identity and privacy of all users of Breather Coach.

FOR EXTERNAL PROCESSING BY CONTRACTED THIRD PARTIES
Subject to appropriate confidentiality and security measures, we provide trusted businesses with whom we contract to process the information for us, based on our instructions and subject to appropriate confidentiality agreements.

OWNERSHIP CHANGES
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets by PN Medical, we will continue to take measures to protect the confidentiality of personal information and provide you notice before transferring any personal information to the acquiring or surviving entity.

FOR LEGAL REASONS
When required by law, regulation, court order, government request or legal process, or to assert legal rights or defend PN Medical against legal claims, or to prevent, detect, or investigate illegal activity, fraud, abuse, violations of our contractual terms, or threats to the security of our Services or the physical safety of any person, we may disclose the required information to the appropriate authority or entity.

As the parent or guardian of your child, you have control over your child’s account. Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your Breather Coach account, you may do so by completing the following steps below within the app. Please note that your user data will be permanently deleted once this is completed.

Open the Breather Coach app
Click the Profile tab at the bottom of your screen
Click MY SETTINGS
Click ACCOUNT SETTINGS
Click DELETE ACCOUNT
Add comment if desired and Click DELETE

Our Responsibilities

  • We are required by law to maintain the privacy and security of your protected information.
  • We will let you know promptly if a breach occurs that may have compromised the privacy or security of your information.
  • We must follow the duties and privacy practices described in this notice and give you a copy of it.
  • We will not use or share your information other than as described here unless you tell us we can. If you tell us we can, you may change your mind at any time. Let us know in writing if you change your mind.
